Diesel & Eco Car – Issue 431 – November 2022

After a run of blue cars on the cover of Diesel&EcoCar, we’ve got a bright yellow Jeep on the cover, the first time that the company has offered a pure electric vehicle. The new Jeep Avenger will be in showrooms next year. We’ve also got news of the European version of the Nissan X-Trail, and the first photographs of Skoda’s new concept car, the Vision 7S, which displays its future design direction. Peugeot has revealed the e-308, Vauxhall the Astra GSe, and Toyota has taken the wraps off the Yaris Cross GR Sport.

This month’s twin test focuses on the Kia Niro EV and MG ZS EV, a pair of incredibly popular compact crossovers. We’ve also got tests on the DS 4 Cross diesel and the facelifted Volkswagen T-Roc, alongside the Mazda CX-60 plug-in hybrid and the pure electric MG4. Completing the tests this month, we also have been behind the wheel of the Toyota Proace Verso and SEAT Tarraco, both in diesel guise, and driven the mild hybrid Suzuki Swift Sport.

This month’s comprehensive used car buyer’s guide is all about the Jaguar I-Pace, and in Our Cars, we wave goodbye to the Volvo V60 and Ford Kuga. We take a virtual trip around the world, exploring what products MG has to offer in other markets outside of the UK. But that’s not all, we also have your favourites, including The Doctor, Fuel for Thought, Motor Grump, Autojumble, Bright Spark, Road Watch, Techzone, Current Affairs and Gadget Inspector, as well as focusing on the Renault Megane 2.0 dCi 160 in our Tuning and Modifying section. That’s in addition to the most up-to-date data section in the business.
