DS Automobiles says all models will be electrified from 2025

DS Automobiles has announced its electrification strategy at the 2018 Paris ePrix. From 2025 onwards, all new DS models will be electrified, either hybrid or electric, or both. This programme is already under way with the imminent arrival of DS7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4×4, boasting 300 horsepower and a 30-mile EV driving range. The first 100 per cent electric DS model is due to be launched at the next Paris Motor Show.

DS Automobiles has now opened order books for the DS 7 CROSSBACK, the new DS SUV, through its emerging new dedicated DS Network. The first deliveries of which will start early 2018

DS 3 gets Connected Chic

A new range model of the DS 3 is being introduced – the Connected Chic is the new trim level from premium French brand DS Automobiles. Positioned between the Chic and Performance Line trim levels, DS 3 Connected Chic is priced at £900 over the Chic trim level version but features additional equipment valued at over £2,000

PSA agrees to buy Vauxhall and Opel

General Motors Co. and PSA Group today announced an agreement under which GM’s Opel/Vauxhall subsidiary and GM Financial’s European operations will join the PSA Group in a transaction valuing these activities at €1.3 Bn and €0.9 Bn, respectively.
