Audi’s new e-tron launches electrification offensive

Audi is launching its electrification offensive with the world premiere of the e-tron. By 2025 Audi will offer twelve models with all-electric drive in the most important markets worldwide and expects to achieve roughly one-third of its sales with electrified models. The SUVs in this portfolio include the e-tron and the e-tron Sportback, which is due to make its debut in 2019. A series of models with classic body layouts such as Avant and Sportback will also be available. The range will cover every relevant market segment from the compact to the full-size class.

All-electric Audi e-tron SUV now in production

A major waypoint on the journey towards electrification of the Audi model range has just been reached: Audi Brussels has this week begun volume production of the Audi e-tron. The company says its first all-electric SUV has a range suitable for everyday use, and thanks to its charging capacity of up to 150 kW can be primed and ready for a long distance journey in around 30 minutes using a quick-charging station. Audi will present the final production-ready car for the first time at its world premiere in San Francisco on September 17.

New 2.0 TDI 40 diesel option for Audi A6 and A7 Sportback

The latest Audi four-cylinder 2.0-litre, 201 bhp 40 TDI engine is now available to order in the A6 Saloon, Avant and A7 Sportback – the first time a four-cylinder has been fitted in the five-door coupe – offering favourable calculations for business users.

Styling tweaks for 2019 Audi A4

Audi has announced a series of styling updates for the 2019 Model Year A4 Saloon and Avant ranges that also goes hand-in-hand with a number of detail equipment enhancements. The design-oriented changes aim to sharpen the look of SE and Sport versions and raise the S line specification profile.

New V6 diesel mild hybrid option for Audi A7 Sportback

A new lead-in V6 TDI version of the Audi A7 Sportback is now available to order, offering up to 50.4mpg combined. Drawing on 228 bhp of power and 369 ft lb of torque, the new A7 Sportback 45 TDI quattro also has WLTP-certified emissions of as little as 147g/km.
