Almost exactly one year since the first Audi e-tron made its camouflaged debut at the Geneva Motor Show, a concept that will form the basis of the fifth fully electric model to join the range by the close of the decade, broke cover at the same location.

The nascent range of fully electric Audi e-tron models is to be complemented by a series of plug-in hybrids that will consolidate existing model lines, and the first of these will make their debuts next week at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Appearing for the first time on the Audi stand on Tuesday March 5 will be new hybrid variants of the A6, A7 Sportback, A8 and Q5, the majority of which will be available in a choice of two configurations with either a comfort or performance orientation and corresponding outputs and equipment packages. The Audi e-tron SUV is now available to order in the UK today in two forms – e-tron and e-tron Launch Edition – priced at £71,490 and £82,240 respectively. The new five-seat SUV blazes a trail that will be followed by at least 11 more fully electric Audi models between now and 2025
Audi has been showing its new all-electric e-tron in Milton Keynes, one of four key locations chosen by the UK Government to spearhead vehicle emissions reduction initiatives as part of its Go Ultra Low Cities programme.
