Diesel & Eco Car – Issue 436 – March 2023

Peugeot get pride of place on the front cover of the March issue of Diesel&EcoCar, as we get behind the wheel of the 408 Hybrid on UK roads for the first time. It shares road test space inside the magazine with the Jeep Avenger, Nissan Ariya and the distinctive Volkswagen ID.Buzz. We’ve also been driving the MG4 EV and pitched it up against one of the newest electric cars to join the market, the Renault Megane E-Tech. Which of the pair did we find the most engaging, and which of them came out in front of the pure electric shootout?

It shares road test space inside the magazine with the Jeep Avenger, Nissan Ariya and the distinctive Volkswagen ID.Buzz. Which of the pair did we find the most engaging, and which of them came out in front of the pure electric shootout?

The news pages are jam packed with stories about facelifts this month, with the BMW X5 and X6 getting a significant nip and tuck, alongside the Mercedes-Benz CLA and GLE updates, and changes to the Mazda2, Polestar 2 and Range Rover Velar. We have news of Peugeot’s E-Lion plans, an update to the Nissan-Renault Alliance and we talk about Suzuki’s electric future.

We welcome a couple of new cars to the long-term fleet, the Peugeot 308 SW and Vauxhall Astra, and wave goodbye to the Skoda Scala and Mazda CX-5. But that’s not all, we also have your favourites, including The Doctor, Fuel for Thought, Motor Grump, Autojumble, Bright Spark, Road Watch, Techzone, Current Affairs and Gadget Inspector, as well as focusing on the Jaguar XE in our used car section. That’s in addition to the most up-to-date data section in the business.
