The paint may barely be dry on the first Land Rover Defenders, but Italian company Autohome has already created a bespoke roof tent for the new 4×4. Protected by a lightweight fibreglass shell when stowed, the 2.3-metre-long tent takes advantage of the car’s 300kg maximum static roof load and allows you to camp atop your new car. Gas struts enable the tent to be erected quickly, while the interior reveals a full-size luxury cotton mattress with pillows, an interior LED light and a stowage net. There’s also an aluminium access ladder that allows you to clamber in. What could be better than taking your new Land Rover Defender on a real adventure?
