Vauxhall unveils new UK-built Vivaro van
Vauxhall has celebrated its return to the CV Show with the world premiere of the all-new British-built Vivaro van. The Luton-built Vivaro is shown in both panel van and doublecab body styles.“ As the UK’s largest CV manufacturer celebrating its 90th year of van production, we’re proud to present a new Vivaro model that not only has class-leading credentials, but also secures the future of our Luton workforce for many years to come,” said Stephen Norman, Vauxhall’s Group Managing Director.
Vauxhall unveils all-new British Vivaro
Vauxhall’s all-new Vivaro van has been revealed. The company says it heralds a bright future for the company’s Luton plant where the vehicle will be built. Available to order next month and arriving in Vauxhall showrooms this summer, the third generation Vivaro medium van is available in two lengths (L1H1 4.95m and L2H1 5.30m). Body styles include panel van, doublecab for up to six occupants and a platform chassis
New British-built Vivaro on the way
Vauxhall will enter the leisure MPV segment with the all-new British-built Vivaro Life. Due to go in to production at Vauxhall’s manufacturing facility in Luton, Bedfordshire, the Vivaro Life is described as “a comfortable MPV” that will be offered in two lengths, tailor-made to customer requirements: the 4.95m “Medium” and the 5.30m “Large” – each of which comes with up to nine seats
Vauxhall announces electrification plans
Vauxhall will embark on an electric-focused technology drive, which it says will transform its range over the next two years at a similar rate to its first heady days as a car manufacturer at the start of the last century.
PSA invests in Luton for the next Vauxhall Vivaro
PSA Group intends to increase its manufacturing capacity in the compact vans segment and will begin supplying its customers from the Luton plant by 2019 in addition to the existing Hordain facility in France.
