Skoda opens UK order books for the fourth-generation Octavia

Skoda is set to welcome the fourth-generation Octavia to the UK this summer and has opened the order books for its newcomer from today. The company says the new model is the most advanced and sophisticated model ever to wear the Octavia badge, with the all-new model building on 60 years of Octavia tradition.

Skoda presents its Enyaq iV electric SUV

Skoda says that the new Enyaq iV marks a pioneering step forward in its electromobility strategy. The first Skoda production model based on Volkswagen Group’s MEB modular electric car platform “combines brand-typical virtues such as a generous amount of space and an emotive design with fun yet sustainable driving”. There is a choice of three battery sizes and five power variants, depending on requirements. The all-electric SUV is set to be built at Skoda’s main plant in Mladá Boleslav, making it the first MEB-based Volkswagen Group vehicle in Europe to be produced outside Germany.

Skoda releases Octavia prices and specs for July launch

The Octavia has been at the heart of the Skoda brand for more than six decades and 2020 marks the arrival of an all-new fourth-generation model. The all-new Octavia range launches with two body styles, two special First Edition trim levels and three engine options. Prices range from £22,390 for the 1.5 TSI 148 bhp SE First Edition hatch model to £29,515 for the 2.0 TDI 148 bhp DSG Estate SE L First Edition. Diesels start at £23,300 for the 2.0 TDI 113 bhp SCR bhp hatch model.

Skoda adds SE Drive trim level to Fabia, Karoq and Kodiaq ranges

Skoda is adding a new SE Drive trim level to its Fabia, Karoq and Kodiaq ranges. Designed to “showcase Skoda’s broad range of advanced technologies and design features”, the new SE Drive models are intended further to “enhance the brand’s reputation for delivering unbeatable value for money”.
