Skoda Kamiq diesels from £21,835

Skoda has announced final prices and specifications for the all-new Kamiq. The new model is positioned below the Kodiaq and Karoq in Skoda’s three-model SUV line-up. The Kamiq is the second all-new Skoda to hit retailers in 2019, and like the Scala it follows, it features the latest evolution of the brand’s design language.

First Skoda Kamiq SUV rolls off the production line

The first Skoda Kamiq has rolled off the production line at Skoda’s main plant in Mladá Boleslav. The compact city SUV completes Skoda’s SUV portfolio at the lower end. Following in the footsteps of the Kodiaq and Karoq, the Kamiq is the third Skoda SUV for the European market and is designed to combine the advantages of an SUV – such as higher ground clearance and an elevated seat position – with the agility of a compact car.

Skoda to launch Kamiq compact SUV at Geneva

Skoda’s new SUV is called the Kamiq. The crossover is the third SUV for the European market and marks the next step in the Czech manufacturer’s SUV campaign. The word Kamiq comes from the language of the Inuit people living in northern Canada and Greenland. It describes something that fits as perfectly as a second skin in every situation. Reason enough to give the new crossover model for the European market the same name as the SUV already established in China
