SEAT’s range of electrified vehicles continues to expand as the SEAT Tarraco e-HYBRID enters production this week. The plug-in hybrid version of the brand’s flagship SUV will deliver a maximum power of 242 bhp.
SEAT starts work on pioneering battery lab

SEAT says it has started construction on a pioneering battery laboratory as part of its commitment to invest in electrification. Located at the SEAT plant in Martorell, Barcelona, the 1,500 m2 Test Centre Energy (TCE) facility will cost over £6.3 million and be used to test and develop energy systems for electric and hybrid vehicles.
SEAT Leon plug-in hybrid from £30,970

SEAT’s debut plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), the Leon e-HYBRID, is now available to order, priced from £30,970. The e-HYBRID drivetrain combines a 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine with an electric motor and six-speed DSG transmission, resulting in a total power output of 201 bhp and a 0-62mph time of 7.5 seconds.
