Top safety rating for the electric MG ZS EV

The MG ZS EV has achieved the coveted Five Star Euro NCAP rating. As the brand’s first-ever battery electric car, MG ZS EV has been a sales success since launch. MG says the ZS EV impressed in all areas of the Euro NCAP test, including the four key test categories: Adult Occupant, Child Occupant, Vulnerable Road User and Safety Assist.

First customer receives all-electric MG ZS

The first-ever customer delivery of a fully electric MG has taken place at Bushey Heath Garage, Bushey, Hertfordshire, where Richard Jackson received the keys to his new ZS EV Exclusive in Dynamic Red. The milestone handover also marks the start of customer deliveries for ZS EV across MG’s 100-strong dealer network.

Buyers snap up first 1,000 electric MGs in two weeks

MG Motor UK has smashed its new car pre-sales records by securing 1,000 orders for its MG ZS EV in just two weeks. Having officially launched the car to the press and public on 17th July, MG has experienced unprecedented demand as customers raced to be one of the first 1,000 retail customers to snap up the electric SUV from just £21,495.

MG opens the order books for all-electric ZS EV

MG Motor UK has opened the order bank and released further details about its first-ever fully electric car that has been unveiled at the London Motor Show at London’s ExCel. Customers will be able to place a deposit for the ZS EV directly with the MG team at the show. The ZS EV is powered by a 44.5kWh water-cooled battery with rapid-charging capability that will enable it to be recharged from 0-80 per cent in 43 minutes, while domestic charging on a 7kW unit takes six-and-a-half hours from 0-100 per cent. Certified range on current WLTP test regulations is expected to be confirmed in Q3.
