New all-electric Kia Soul set to be unveiled in LA

The all-new Kia Soul will make its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The Soul is all new for 2020 and “will come to market with a bold, immediately recognisable design, uncompromising versatility and a fun-to-drive personality”.

Hyundai and Kia push “solar roof” technology

Kia Motors and Hyundai Motor have today announced plans to introduce ‘solar roof’ charging technology on selected Hyundai Motor Group vehicles. Electricity-generating solar panels will be incorporated into the roof or the hood of vehicles, and will support internal combustion, hybrid and battery electric vehicles with additional electrical power, increasing fuel efficiency and range. 

Kia Ceed GT-Line unveiled at Paris show

The all-new Kia Ceed GT-Line which takes its design cues from the higher-powered Ceed GT model made its public debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show today. Strengthening the appeal of Kia’s new mid-size family car range, the latest Ceed GT-Line is available on every variant of the new Ceed, including the five-door hatchback and Ceed Sportswagon. The new shooting brake bodystyle of the ProCeed is sold as standard in GT-Line specification.

European spec electric Kia e-Niro to be launched at Paris

The all-new Kia e-Niro will offer owners a driving range on official tests of up to 301 miles on a single charge when it goes on-sale across Europe at the end of 2018. The e-Niro, Kia’s first fully-electric crossover utility vehicle, will be revealed in European specification at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, before sales begin later this year.
