Plug-in hybrids join revamped Jaguar F-Pace range

The updated Jaguar F-Pace gets an updated exterior, an all-new interior, the latest generation Pivi Pro infotainment and the choice of in-line four and six-cylinder engines including PHEV and MHEV technology. The four-cylinder, 398bhp PHEV has an all-electric range of up to 33 miles.

Plug-in hybrid and straight six diesel for the Land Rover Defender

The Land Rover Defender now has advanced new powertrains, new model specifications and more options. For the 2021 model year a new Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) model – the P400e – combines a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and 105kW electric motor, to deliver 398 bhp, CO2 emissions of just 74g/km and combined economy of 85.3mpg. It will run in all-electric mode with zero tailpipe emissions for up to 27 miles, including off-road where, Land Rover says, the immediate torque from the electric motor makes Defender even more capable.

Mild hybrid diesels for the updated Land Rover Discovery Sport

The new Land Rover Discovery Sport has been enhanced with mild-hybrid Ingenium diesel engines and the latest Pivi and Pivi Pro infotainment system. Following the launch of the P300e plug-in hybrid earlier in 2020, a number of additional new engine options are now available for the Discovery Sport, including Land Rover’s next generation of four-cylinder diesel engines.

JLR Ingenium engine reaches 1.5 million milestone

Jaguar Land Rover has now produced over 1.5 million Ingenium engines at its Engine Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton, UK, which makes a range of clean and electrified powertrains for all Jaguar and Land Rover models.  

Range Rover gets straight-six diesel and hybrid tech

A new family of 3.0-litre straight-six Ingenium diesel engines and a range of special editions including the Westminster, Westminster Black Edition and an SVAutobiography Dynamic Black have joined the recently announced Range Rover Fifty celebratory model.
