Aston Martin Lagonda has continued its march towards a new range of state of the art, luxury vehicles driven by zero emission powertrain technologies with the unveiling of the Lagonda All-Terrain Concept at the Geneva Motor Show.
Aston Martin is poised for the global debut of the Lagonda All-Terrain Concept at the 89th Geneva International Motor Show. Following the relaunch of Lagonda as the world’s first luxury zero emission brand and the surprise debut of the Lagonda Vision Concept at last year’s Geneva Show, 2019 sees the reveal of Lagonda’s All-Terrain Concept.
With interest in classic cars growing every year and values of heritage models at an all-time high, Aston Martin Lagonda has pioneered a new plan: to future-proof these increasingly precious machines by creating the world’s first reversible EV powertrain conversion.
Aston Martin has announced that its second major UK manufacturing facility will become the brand’s centre for electrification and the production home of the Lagonda brand, the world’s first zero-emission luxury marque.
After displaying the ‘Vision Concept’ study the 2018 Geneva motor show, Lagonda has confirmed plans for its first production model: what it calls a radical, sector-defining zero-emission SUV. Scheduled to be unveiled in 2021, Aston says the Lagonda SUV will be the first luxury SUV exclusively driven by zero emission powertrain technologies and will uphold all the qualities of the reinvented super-luxury marque.
