Skoda has released the first sketches of its forthcoming VisionS concept car. The VisionS will first be seen in the metal at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show, and hints at how Skoda’s future SUV could look.
Skoda first unveiled its new design language in 2014 with the VisionC concept and is now transferring this to the SUV segment with the the VisionS (‘S’ stands for SUV).
Inside, there’s a large interior featuring three rows of seats, offering space for six occupants. Externally, a sharp tornado line spans the entire length of the VisionS’ body. Angular wheel arches emphasise the off-road character and the upper-shoulder contour forms a deep groove over the sills. The sloping roofline with the long spoiler and tapered rear are designed visually to “accelerate” the show car even when stationary.
