Vauxhall has signed a new deal with RED, the UK’s second largest driving school, which will see more than 1,000 cars supplied on an annual basis.
RED Driving School has a network of over 1,600 franchised instructors throughout the UK and each year trains over 100,000 people to drive. In addition to the fleet relationship with Vauxhall for the Corsas driven by its instructors, RED Driving School Instructors and those learners who pass with RED will also be eligible for Vauxhall’s Partners Programme. This programme gives access to great deals on new Vauxhall models, as well as the Luton-based manufacturer’s ever-popular Flexible Finance scheme. Industry research has shown that new drivers have a very strong affinity for the marque and model of car that they learn in and that many go on to buy the same model as their driving instructor, which in the case of RED Driving School pupils would be a Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 CDTi ecoFLEX.
“We are delighted that our instructors and learner drivers will be able to benefit from Vauxhall’s Partners Programme,” said Andy Mitchell, commercial director at RED Driving School. “Our instructors have always been incredibly happy with the Corsas we offer with our full franchise and we know our pupil enjoy learning in them, so we will no doubt see many of them choosing to continue to drive a Vauxhall once they pass their test.”
“RED Driving School has been an excellent and long-standing Vauxhall Fleet customer,” said Paul Adler, Vauxhall’sFleet Marketing & Motability Manager. “We are very pleased to offer its instructors and learner drivers access to our Partners Programme and are confident they will continue to benefit from the versatility, reliability and enjoyment that come with owning and driving a Vauxhall.”
