Description
With a theme of 4x4s, SUVs and towing pervading across the pages of the November issue of Diesel Car & Eco Car, we’ve got a strong front cover, with the striking new Hyundai Tucson revealed for the first time.
And it’s a double SUV reveal, with Skoda’s Enyaq dominating the pages within EcoCar. In addition, there’s the first information on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class luxury car, facelifts for the Peugeot 3008 and 5008, as well as Audi’s Q2, and details of the combustion engines in the Vauxhall Mokka. We’ve got the first photos of the Volkswagen Golf Estate and Jaguar’s F-Pace gets an update, including plug-in hybrid technology and the company’s new straight six 3.0-litre diesel engine. In EcoCar, the Hyundai Kona Hybrid gets a facelift, as does the Kia Stonic and Porsche Panamera. We’ve also got the first information on the Kia Sorento plug-in hybrid.
Audi’s A3 gets put through its paces – is it better than its stablemates, the SEAT Leon, Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Golf? We’ve also driven the Kia Sorento, Mercedes-Benz GLB and the front-wheel-drive edition of the SEAT Tarraco. This month’s twin test is between the Ford Focus and the Skoda Octavia – which one wins this great hatch match? In EcoCar, we’ve been driving the pure electric Fiat 500 Prototype, as well as hybrid versions of the Renault Clio, Captur and Megane – the last two are of the plug-in variety. We’ve also driven Hyundai’s baby pocket rocket, the i10 N-Line and the Toyota C-HR 2.0-litre Hybrid has been given the test treatment.
This month’s used car buyer’s guide is all about the Renault Koleos (2015 to 2020) and we’ve got features on choosing a tow car and a guide to maximising grip in mucky conditions. In addition to favourites like Doctor Diesel, The Extra Mile, Legal i, Buying, Selling and Maintaining, Marketplace, and the most up-to-date vehicle statistics anywhere in the magazine world, there’s three new columns called Autojumble, Motorgrump and Retrospective. If you haven’t seen DieselCar and EcoCar magazine lately, be sure to pick up a copy to test drive for yourself, the latest content.
