Description

No Kermit the Frogs were harmed in the making of this issue! The cover of the June 2025 edition of Diesel&EcoCar magazine has a bright green hue, and we’re extremely proud of the latest feature packed issue. There’s the first photographs of the Citroën C5 Aircross, as well us news of the latest Lexus ES, the new Jeep Compass, Audi A6 saloon, Mercedes-Benz Vision V and the facelifted DS No4. And if that wasn’t enough, we have the first details about the facelifted Subaru Solterra, and its Trailseeker sister car, as well as images of the striking Genesis X Grand Equator, the Isuzu D-Max EV and information on Renault’s new 1.8-litre hybrid engine.

We get behind the wheel of the new Audi A5 Avant TDI and test the Hyundai Inster and the BYD Sealion 7. We’ve also been trying out the Land Rover Defender 90 D350 and the mildly updated SEAT Leon FR Estate in plug-in eHybrid guise. This month we welcome two motors to the Our Cars fleet, with a Volvo V90 T6 plug-in hybrid and Citroën e-SpaceTourer arriving.

There’s a towing theme to this month’s magazine, with a helpful feature to assist you in deciding whether diesel, hybrid or electric is best for hauling a trailer, and hints and tips on getting the best fuel economy when towing over distances.

This month’s used car buyer’s guide is all about the Dacia Duster 1.5 dCi, and we examine three different generations of the luxurious Jaguar XJ. Peugeot’s 3008 HYbrid4 is pitched against the Volvo XC40 T5 plug-in hybrid in secondhand shootout, and we ask the Doctor whether the DS 9 is a hero or a big fat zero. This is in addition to all of your other favourite features including The Doctor, Motor Grump, Fully Equipped, Bright Spark, and the most up-to-date data section in the magazine business.
