Continuous development is the best way of ensuring that products are up to date, and Peugeot has certainly embraced that with its popular pure electric e-2008. An increase in the optimum driving range from 206 to 212 miles has been achieved thanks to the fitment of A+ efficiency rated low rolling resistance tyres, and a new gear ratio further optimises the driving range, especially on motorway journeys. A new heat pump and an interior humidity sensor fitted to the top of the windscreen helps warm up times and helps to eke out the miles, particularly at low temperatures.
