With practicality, versatility and quality at the core of its design, the Note is a small car that’s a big attraction in the Nissan range. Now a range of Model Year 11 enhancements have been announced adding further value and  appeal to this British built model.

From the outside drivers will notice some tweaks to the Note’s design which enhance the lines of the compact five-door. Both Acenta and Teckna grades now feature silver painted door handles and a silver finish for the tailgate trim, complemented by fashionable gloss black B and C-pillars. Choose the Note n-tec and a new front spoiler finisher and front entry guards also add to the Note’s well-proportioned appearance.

The Acenta variants have also been fitted with a new audio system, allowing drivers to enjoy the benefits of USB, iPod and audio input connections at no extra cost. For many Nissan buyers it’s the technology fitted to the n-tec version which has provided the Note with the perfect level of equipment. Responding to the desires of customers, Nissan has further enhanced the already generous standard n-tec kit list with climate control, auto lighting and auto wipers, while a new interior trim colour is also available. Remember, this is in addition to the n-tec’s existing standard Connect satellite navigation and audio system, 16-inch alloy wheels and privacy glass. Safety is also enhanced with ESP now fitted as standard on Acenta, Tekna and n-tec variants. While there isn’t much room for any additions to the top spec Tekna’s equipment list, Nissan’s Intelligent Key is now standard. Previously a £250 option, the advanced system offers ‘key-less’ entry and starting as long as the driver is in possession of the key fob.

Perhaps the best news is that the increase in equipment has had no impact on the Note’s price list. The price of every Note has remained unchanged, which will help it to maintain its impressive UK sales chart position. This is not only great news for Nissan buyers but also a boost for UK manufacturing, as every Note is built at Nissan’s Sunderland plant. The finishing touch is an overhaul of the colour palette available to Note buyers, with the addition of two new metallic colours, Magnetic Red and Grey.

Available to order from Nissan’s UK dealer network now, first deliveries of the Note MY 11 will begin in August. Euro V compliant diesel models will be available from November.
