Mini has launched a new “One” version of the Clubman diesel aimed at business users. The equipment list includes sat nav, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth, cruise control and Mini connected on every car, but fleet and business customers will be particularly interested in the 99g/km cycle emissions.

Company car drivers will benefit from a low BiK (Benefit in Kind) rate of 17 per cent on the Mini One D Clubman in the 2015-16 tax year.

The Clubman’s signature split rear doors are retained on this model, while accessibility and everyday usability are further enhanced thanks to four full-sized side doors.

The new car is powered by the latest generation three-cylinder Mini TwinPower Turbo diesel engine which meets EU6 exhaust emission standards.

With a peak output of 116 horsepower and 199 lb ft of torque, the unit provides a top speed of 119mph. Fuel consumption averages 74.3 mpg on the combined cycle and CO2 emissions of 99 grams per kilometre (EU test cycle figures, dependent on tyre format selected).

A six-speed manual transmissions is standard, while an optional six-speed Steptronic transmission is also available.

The new Mini One D Clubman is built in the UK at Oxford and is available to order at Mini Retailers now. The first customer deliveries will commence in April 2016. Prices start at £21,375 with pricing for the automatic starting from £22,870. Mini Financial Services offers a range of rental options for corporate and SME customers, with rates starting from £179 per month.
