The new Mercedes-Benz CLA , with prices starting from £30,550 for the entry-level CLA 180 AMG Line.
All models will be initially available with a 7G-DCT seven-speed automatic transmission, with a manual gearbox coming later. The diesel-powered CLA 200 d and CLA 220 d will also be added to the line-up later in the year. The CLA Shooting Brake was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and will be going on sale in May.
AMG Line models come as standard with MBUX multimedia system, including ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice recognition; 10.25-inch digital touchscreen infotainment display; seven-inch digital cockpit display; navigation with three years live services; LED high performance headlights; privacy glass; Thermotronic luxury two-zone automatic climate control; Keyless-Go starting function; DAB radio; smartphone integration, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; wireless charging (for compatible phones); heated front seats; leather upholstery, with a choice of four colour options; Parking package; Mirror package; Active Lane Keeping Assist and Speed Limit Assist.
AMG Line Premium trim adds a 10.25-inch digital cockpit display; augmented navigation; a dash cam; ambient lighting, with a choice of 64 colours; 225 w illuminated door sills with ‘Mercedes-Benz’ lettering; rear armrest; Keyless-Go, including keyless lock and unlock.
AMG Line Premium Plus features all of the above equipment, and adds a panoramic sliding sunroof; Multibeam LED headlights and Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus; memory seats for the driver and front passenger; Energizing pack – uses a number of the car’s systems to boost driver fitness and wellbeing.
The Driving Assistance package is available for £1,495, and includes Active Blind Spot Assist; Active Braking Assist with cross-traffic function; Active Distance Assist Distronic; Active Emergency Stop Assist; Active Lane-change Assist; Active Speed Limit Assist; Active Steering Assist; Evasive Steering Assist; Pre-Safe Plus; and route-based speed adjustment.
