EXCLUSIVE: Peugeot adds sat nav and extra equipment to 308 for free

Peugeot 308With an all-new 308 due on sale in around 12 months time, Peugeot has taken the opportunity to freshen up the 308 line-up to ensure sales remain strong until it is replaced.

Satellite navigation now becomes standard equipment on all but the entry level Access models at no extra cost on all hatchback, SW estate and CC coupé-cabriolet derivatives. LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity and a USB socket are now fitted to Access versions, with dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors, power folding door mirrors and satellite navigation now standard on mid-range Active models. The flagship Allure trim gains front parking sensors.

At the same time, the more powerful 113bhp versions of the 1.6-litre HDi and e-HDi engines are now fitted, replacing the 110bhp editions. Again, this is added to the 308 at no extra cost compared to the outgoing model.

The revised line-up is available to order from 1st March 2013, with prices starting at £17,045 for the 308 Access 1.6 HDi and rising to £27,345 for the 308 CC Roland Garros 2.0 HDi.
