Vauxhall celebrates top spot in the medium hatch segment
September has proved a bumper month for Vauxhall with a hat-trick of successes in the UK’s top-five best-selling car league, and a total market share of 12.6 per cent according to latest figures from the Society of Car Manufacturers and Traders. Vauxhall’s top seller was the Corsa (14,249 sales), followed by the Astra and Insignia ranges.
Nissan reports strong demand for crossovers
The debut of the new 60-registration plate has further boosted Nissan sales, giving the brand a highly successful September. Key to that success has been the continued demand for the innovative Qashqai. When standard and +2 body styles are combined, sales reached 5,641units for the month.
