Kia recalls Soul and Sorento models
Kia Motors (UK) Ltd., is recalling a small number of Soul and new Sorento models in order to deal with a door wiring issue. As part of Kia’s continuous quality improvement programme a potential fault has been identified in a small section of the door wiring loom that controls the “mood” lighting in Soul and Sorento models.

Jaguar XJ is voted Professional Driver Car Of The Year 2010
The exciting new Jaguar XJ has won the prestigious 2010 Car of the Year award from Professional Driver magazine, rating it as the top car for Britain’s chauffeurs and Private Hire drivers. To receive the overall Car of the Year accolade, the winning XJ – a 3.0-Litre V6 Diesel Long Wheelbase model – not only defeated its nearest rivals in the closely-contested Chauffeur Car of the Year category, but it also gained the highest average score of the four individual award winners.
Ford announces prices for new C-MAX
Ford’s all-new C-MAX will go on sale in the UK in October, priced from £16,745. Both the sporty but spacious five-seater and the Grand, a versatile seven-seater, come with a simplified two-series line-up – Zetec and Titanium. Diesel prices start from £18,245 for the C-MAX Zetec and £19,745 for the C-MAX Grand Zetec.
Overall car registrations drop for August, but diesel sales at record high
New car registrations were down 17.5 per cent in August and conditions will remain challenging through the rest of the year, said Paul Everitt, SMMT chief executive.
