Skoda releases design sketches of the new “more emotive” Octavia

Skoda has released design sketches providing the first glimpse of the new Skoda Octavia. The company says that the new Skoda design language reveals that the fourth generation of the brand’s best-selling model will have a more emotive look; combining compact dimensions with a very generous amount of interior space.

New Golf to be presented on 24 October

On 24 October, the Volkswagen brand will present the eighth generation Golf at a world premiere in Wolfsburg: featuring more digitalisation and connectivity than before, and “packed with innovations and sporting a highly expressive design”.

Production start for the new Ford Puma

Production of the new Ford Puma is now underway at Ford’s manufacturing facility in Craiova, Romania, with full UK pricing now available. High specification First Edition models will be exclusively offered for delivery from January, ahead of the full range becoming available to order early next year.

Swedish start-up Uniti offers UK-engineered EV

Swedish mobility pioneer Uniti, has revealed the pricing and specification for its debut vehicle, the fully-electric Uniti One. Designed in Sweden and engineered in the UK, the Uniti One has been created from the ground-up “to be an urban electric vehicle: fully optimised for efficiency, sustainability and affordability, whilst maximising interior space for three adults.”

Morris badge revived for new British electric van
