Order books open for the Skoda Superb iV plug-in hybrid

Customers can now order Skoda’s first electrified car, the new Superb iV. The recently facelifted Superb now offers a low emission hybrid engine, and will be in UK showrooms later this month. Skoda’s first electrified car will be available in four trim levels with the plug-in hybrid powertrain: SE Technology for fleet customers, SE L, SportLine Plus, as well as the range topping L&K.

Dacia launches extra-value special edition SE Twenty models

Dacia has launched its new special edition SE Twenty models, which are available to order now with customer deliveries in March 2020. Available on Duster, Logan MCV Stepway and Sandero Stepway, this new addition sits above the Comfort specification across all the ranges. All SE Twenty models feature enhanced standard specification over Comfort models, plus distinctive exterior additions and bespoke interior fabrics.

Volkswagen delivers its 250,000th electrified car

In mid-December at the Autostadt, the Volkswagen brand delivered the 250,000th electrified car since the introduction of the e-up! in 2013. The brand’s electrified model range has been continually expanded in the following years: e- Golf and Golf GTE followed in 2014, the Passat GTE and Passat Variant GTE in 2015.

Lower C02 diesels and a new powertrain combo for the Citroën C5 Aircross

Citroën UK has added a new drivetrain option to its  C5 Aircross SUV range. The French brand has combined the  PureTech 130 S&S 3-cylinder petrol engine with its eight-speed EAT8 automatic gearbox. In addition, following re-homologation, selected BlueHDi diesel engines have seen their CO2 levels reduced.

MG selects Santander as exclusive finance provider

MG Motor UK has announced that Santander Consumer Finance (SCF) has been selected as its exclusive finance provider, as both companies agreed a five-year partnership that became effective from 1st January 2020.
