SEAT launches Ateca FR Black Edition

SEAT has launched a special edition Ateca FR Black Edition. Based on the FR Sport, the newcomer, available to order now, adds a number of features designed to enhance both the aesthetic and the practicality of the vehicle. The exterior has gloss black door mirrors, window and grille surrounds, adds unique gloss black roof rails, black exterior finishers and mouldings, as well as 19-inch ‘Exclusive’ machined gloss black alloy wheels.

Kia’s European sales hit the half million mark in 2019

Kia Motors has achieved annual sales of more than half a million cars in Europe for the first time, according to new data released by the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA). Kia’s total annual sales of 502,845 units in Europe represents a sales increase of +1.7 per cent, and the brand’s 11th consecutive year of growth. Last year the brand also achieved an all-time-high 3.2 per cent market share across European Union and European Free Trade Area countries.

Toyota adds small new SUV to its European line-up

Toyota has announced plans to introduce a brand new model to its European line-up, a small SUV based on a variant of the new GA-B platform. The name of the new model, volume plans and the timing of its introduction will be announced at a future date. The news was revealed to media attending a Toyota showcase event in Amsterdam, where a stylised silhouette of the future car was shown.

Hyundai and Kia back UK EV start-up Arrival

Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Motors Corporation today announced a strategic investment of €100 million (about £85 million) in a new partnership with Arrival, a UK-based electric vehicle startup. Through the partnership, Hyundai and Kia plan to introduce competitively priced small and medium-sized electric vans and other products for logistics and on-demand ride-hailing and shuttle service companies.
