Honda releases prices for the e:HEV hybrid powered Jazz and Jazz Crosstar models

Honda UK has released pricing information for the all-new e:HEV hybrid powered Jazz and Jazz Crosstar models, the latest additions to the company’s growing e:Technology range of vehicles. Recommended prices for the Jazz e:HEV will begin at £18,980 for the SE grade, capable of returning in excess of 62mpg whilst emitting just 102g/KM, rising to £20,180 for the mid-level SR grade, £21,380 for the top spec EX and then £23,580 for the range topping two-tone Crosstar EX grade.
Volkswagen previews ID.4 electric SUV

Volkswagen has been providing an insight into the brand’s first all-electric SUV following the cancellation of the Geneva Motor Show. The new ID.4 will be launched this year. Following in the tracks of the ID.33, the countdown has already begun for the second model based on the new modular electric drive matrix (MEB). “Just like the ID.3, the ID.4 will also come onto the market as a carbon-neutral vehicle”, explains Ralf Brandstätter, Chief Operating Officer of the Volkswagen brand. “We will produce and sell the ID.4 in Europe, China and the U.S..”
Compact Mercedes models get plug-in hybrid option

Mercedes’ CLA Coupé, CLA Shooting Brake and GLA will now be available with EQ Power plug-in hybrid powertrains. The CLA 250 e Coupé and CLA 250 e Shooting Brake are due to go on sale in April, while the GLA 250 e will go on sale in May. First deliveries are expected early in the summer and UK pricing and specification is still to be confirmed.
Dacia Spring Electric concept revealed

Dacia has revealed the next part in its product offensive with the Spring Electric: a concept car previewing its first all-electric model as it joins the zero-emission revolution. In fifteen years, Dacia has grown to more 6.5 million customers worldwide across the Logan, Sandero and Duster models. The Spring Electric showcases the next step as it continues to change with the times while “staying true to its original values of creating vehicles which are simple, modern, reliable and affordable”.
MINI partners with OVO Energy for green electricity supply

MINI has announced a partnership with OVO Energy, providing an offer of 5,000 free, green miles to new MINI Electric owners in the UK. Customers of the brand’s first fully-electric vehicle, who choose to make a switch from their current home energy supply to OVO’s EV Everywhere package, will get the electricity for their first 5,000 miles charged at home for free. The EV Everywhere bundle uses 100 per cent renewable electricity, supporting customers on their journey to zero-carbon living.
