Vauxhall launches online tyre service for all makes and models

Following on from its All Makes check-up campaign, Vauxhall has introduced a new Tyres Online section to the brand’s website. Just as the All Makes campaign is open to all drivers, no matter the make or model of their car, so too is Tyres Online. With the new offering, drivers of any car can search, select, purchase and arrange tyre fittings at their local retailer via the Vauxhall website.

Citroën van swappage scheme offers trade-ins up to £10,000

Owners of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) registered before 1 January 2014 could now receive as much as £10,000 towards the cost a new Citroën van, when trading in their vehicle as part of Citroën UK’s newly introduced LCV Swappage Scheme. The introduction of this new LCV campaign follows on from the brand’s car Swappage Scheme, which was launched in November 2019.

Aiways unveils U6ion electric crossover coupe concept

Aiways, the Shanghai-based personal mobility provider, has lifted the covers on its U6ion electric crossover coupe concept. The concept arrives just ahead of Aiways’ European launch. The U6ion’s sibling, the U5 all-electric SUV, will be available in some European markets from August this year. The two share Aiways’ MAS (More Adaptable Structure) platform, a system that supports high-range electric vehicles to suit a variety of lifestyles, functions and configurations. Always says the U6ion capitalises on the relatively low weight of the MAS platform, combining it with a light motor, battery pack and interior to further improve vehicle range.

All-electric Mazda MX-30 First Edition from £26,995

In a year that sees Mazda celebrate its centenary, Mazda UK is also looking to the future with the announcement of pricing for the Mazda MX-30 First Edition – the debut model in the MX-30 range. Limited to 500 examples, the Mazda MX-30 First Edition is available to pre-order now and costs £30,495 on-the-road – £26,995 inclusive of the OLEV grant.
