JLR dealers prepare for June 1 re-opening as lockdown eases

From June 1st, Jaguar and Land Rover retailer showrooms across the country will be re-opening their doors again to welcome customers as lockdown restrictions ease. The company says that with a focus on customer safety and the provision of a comfortable environment, retailer teams have been following SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) and NFDA (National Franchised Dealers Association) guidance and best practice, focusing on the health and safety of employees and customers.

Following the official COVID-19 update from the UK government, Kia Motors (UK) Limited has announced that Kia dealers across England will be fully reopening their doors from 1 June. Car dealerships will be fully reopened, including the showrooms, aftersales departments, service centres and MOT centres.
Mid-life update for the BMW 5 Series

BMW has introduced several changes in an updated 5 Series range. Most models now feature mild-hybrid technology. Like the new BMW 5 Series Saloon, the new BMW 5 Series Touring will also be available with a plug-in hybrid drive system from November 2020. The use of mild hybrid technology with a 48V starter-generator will be rolled out to all models with a four- or six-cylinder engine, except PHEV and M550i xDrive models.
