Renault expands Kangoo Z.E. electric van line-up

Renault Pro+ has announced the addition of the Business+ trim level to the Kangoo Z.E. electric van range. Based on the existing Business trim, the Business+ brings a host of upgrades and equipment designed to deliver enhanced comfort and convenience for drivers. The Kangoo Z.E. enjoyed a 217 per cent increase in volume in 2019 compared with the previous year, representing a 30.15 per cent share of the electric van market.
2020 updates for the Peugeot 308

The Peugeot 308 is being updated for 2020. A new “Vertigo Blue” colour and two new alloy wheels will be available, whilst inside, the dashboard is equipped with a 100 per cent digital PEUGEOT i-Cockpit as well as a capacitive central screen with a “gloss” finish. In addition, the PEUGEOT 308 offers the latest-generation internal combustion engines and a range of driving aids. Three main trim levels are available, with an additional set of equipment on offer via the ‘Premium’ derivatives.
New all-electric Fiat 500 priced from £26,995

The new Fiat 500 ‘la Prima’ hatchback is making its debut following the unveiling of the new 500 ‘la Prima’ convertible in March. Fiat says that “combining a new electric soul with its iconic design and attention to detail, the New 500 retains the unique characteristics of the ‘Cinquino’ to provide sustainable mobility for all”. The new 500 ‘la Prima’ hatchback – including the fitment of the easyWallbox – is priced at £26,995, including PiCG.
Mild hybrid tech for the Ford Fiesta

The Ford Fiesta is now available to order with an electrified powertrain for the first time. Ford EcoBoost Hybrid powertrains, available from £19,860 with Fiesta Titanium, will deliver enhanced fuel efficiency for Fiesta drivers while, Ford says, complementing the company’s “fun to drive” experience. The 48-volt mild hybrid technology is introduced alongside new driver assistance technologies including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Speed Sign Recognition, designed to deliver less stressful driving experiences on highways and around town.
Plug-in hybrid Mercedes B-Class starts at £35,280

The Mercedes-Benz B 250 e plug-in hybrid is now on sale, with prices starting from £35,280, for the B 250 e AMG Line Executive. The AMG Line Premium equipment line costs £36,780, while the AMG Line Premium Plus is £38,280. The B 250 e features a 1.3-litre petrol engine, which generates 156 bhp and 170 ft lb, with an additional 100 bhp and 243 ft lb available from the electric motor. The on-board battery has a total useable capacity of 10.6 kWh, meaning the B 250 e has an all-electric range of up to 42 miles.
