New efficient diesel option for the Citroën SpaceTourer

From December 2020 production, Citroën UK will introduce a new and more efficient engine option – 2.0-litre BlueHDi 140 S&S – to the SpaceTourer MPV range. Citroën says that with a choice of six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmissions (EAT8 Auto), customers have an even greater power of choice.

Expanded Volkswagen ID.3 range dips below £30K

Just four weeks after the first British customers collected their ID.3 1ST Editions, Volkswagen has announced pricing for the seven pre-configured series ID.3 models. The lowest-priced of these net carbon-neutral models, the ID.3 Life, will cost £29,990 including the £3,000 plug-in car grant. Orders for the new models will open next week with first deliveries expected before the end of the month.

Renault launches first all-electric medium trucks

Renault Trucks is partnering with two leading companies – Warburtons, the UK’s largest bakery brand, and recycling and waste specialists SUEZ – in announcing the sale of its first two 100 per cent electric medium duty vehicles. 

Fiat Panda Easy mild hybrid priced from £11,840

Following the Panda City Cross, the new Panda Easy mild hybrid is now available to order in the UK priced at £11,840. The new features continue the electrification journey that Fiat began in February with the launch of the Panda Hybrid Launch Edition, the exclusive special series introduced at the same time as the Fiat 500 Hybrid.

Police Scotland goes electric with Hyundai

Hyundai Motor UK has won an initial contract to supply about 180 Kona Electric 64kWh vehicles to Police Scotland. The agreement supports Police Scotland’s ambition to establish the first blue light, ultra-low emission vehicle fleet in the UK while making a significant contribution towards the Scottish Government’s legally binding target to cut greenhouse gases to net-zero by 2045.
