The uptake of plug-in cars reached a record high in the UK with more than 115 electric cars registered every day during the first quarter of 2016.

Fiat 500 sales top the quarter million mark in the UK

Fiat is reporting that UK sales of the 500 topped a quarter of a million in March. The 8,304 registrations achieved during the month took the overall total since the car was launched in the UK in December 2007 to 257,794.

Infiniti puts a price on the QX30

Infiniti has announced the prices for the QX30 in the UK, which it describes as a Premium Active Crossover. The new car, which will hit the showrooms in a few months, is priced from £29,490 for the QX30 Premium rising to £33,370 for the top QX30 Premium Tech.

New-generation Volkswagen Tiguan goes on sale

Volkswagen has started taking orders for the new second-generation Tiguan, the first SUV model based on its MQB platform. Diesels are expected to account for 95 per cent of all sales.
