Skoda is adding two new trim levels to the Octavia range – SE Sport and SE Technology. Both new models offer extra equipment over the standard SE models and the company says they have been created to satisfy buyer demands for the latest in-car technology and sporty design.

Plug-in hybrid GTE joins Passat range

Volkswagen has added a plug-in hybrid model – badged GTE – to its Passat range. The new car is available to order through the Volkswagen UK retailer network with prices starting at £36,525, excluding the Government Plug-In Car Grant of £2,500.

Citroën adds W Special Edition to Cactus range

Citroën is extending its C4 Cactus range with the introduction of a new C4 Cactus W Special Edition. The new Special Edition will be on sale in the UK from 1 August 2016, priced from £19,620 for the BlueHDi 100 manual diesel version.

BMW 7 Series plug-in hybrid goes on sale

BMW has launched a new plug-in hybrid version of the 7 Series. It combines a four-cylinder petrol engine with a synchronous electric motor to generate a total output of 322 bhp.
