Defra orders 400 UK-built Toyota Auris Hybrids

Defra, the government department responsible for the environment, food and rural affairs, is replacing a significant proportion of its diesel company car fleet with British-built Toyota Auris hybrid electric models. The changeover, expected to cover more than 400 vehicles, is already under way and will continue throughout 2018 in a rolling replacement process. The cars will be used by four Defra organisations: Environment Agency, Marine Management Organisation, Rural Payments Agency and Animal and Plant Health Agency.

Renault adds Dynamique SE Nav special edition to Kadjar range

Renault has strengthened its crossover line-up with the addition of a new Kadjar special edition. The Kadjar Dynamique SE Nav provides a range of additional specification enhancing its exterior look and driving aids, with diesels priced from £25,520 for the Dynamique SE Nav dCi 110. The Kadjar Dynamique SE Nav is available to order now with UK deliveries commencing later this month.

Kia servicing packages now up to seven years long

Kia Motors (UK) Limited is up-grading and extending its service plans for owners. Since 16 April 2018 the newly launched ‘Kia Care’ service plans – replacing the Care-3 service plans launched seven years ago – have been available across all of its dealerships. Re-named ‘Kia Care’ they have been developed to provide customers with a wide range of service plan options for any Kia model within the first seven years of the vehicles life – matching its industry-leading seven-year warranty.

Ford unveils all-new Focus

Ford has unveiled an all-new Focus, which is now on sale for September delivery. The company says all main models will offer enhanced specification while being priced more competitively or at carry-over levels. The new Focus range will comprise seven variants from launch. Starting with Style, the range progresses through Zetec, ST-Line, ST-Line X, Titanium, Titanium X and Vignale.

New Audi A6 Avant on the way

Audi says the Avant model will return to the A6 range this month. The new Audi A6 Avant not only integrates a 1,680-litre maximum luggage capacity but also takes on board standard mild hybrid drive, new technology including the fully digital MMI touch response operating system and a broad spread of driver assistance options.
