Jaguar I-Pace makes early UK appearance at Fully Charged Live

The all-electric Jaguar I-Pace will be making one of its first UK public appearances at Fully Charged Live, taking place at Silverstone from 9th-10th June. Fitted with a 90kWh Lithium-ion battery, two Jaguar-designed motors and a bespoke aluminum structure, the I-Pace is capable of 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds and a range of 298 miles (WLTP).

48 V mild hybrid tech for new Hyundai Tucson

The new Hyundai Tucson will be equipped with a fuel-efficient 48V mild hybrid powertrain. It is the first model in the company’s line-up – and one of the first in the industry – to offer the new technology. It will be launched across Europe in the summer. In addition to the upgraded powertrain portfolio, all Tucson engines meet the new Euro 6d Temp emission standards. The New Tucson also offers a major design update and wider range of advanced technology and convenience features.

September start for all-new Vauxhall Combo Life

Vauxhall’s all-new Combo Life will arrive in showrooms in September, with diesels priced from £22,000 on-the-road. The Combo Life comes in two trims, Design and Energy, with Energy models available as either a five- or seven-seater. Customers can also choose between two wheelbases: standard and XL. Its powertrain portfolio includes petrol and diesels with either manual or automatic transmission.

Peugeot unveils 508 SW estate

Peugeot has unveiled the all-new SW version of the Peugeot 508, which is designed to enter the highly competitive D-segment estate car market. Peugeot says that at 1.42 m in height and 4.78 m long, the all-new 508 SW’s proportions “give it an extremely dynamic body shape, stylised by smooth, flowing lines and a sleek, low roof. The striking design of the all-new Peugeot 508 SW is enhanced further by exterior details, including frameless doors – a unique estate car feature for a mainstream carmaker, full LED headlights and the vertical visual signature of the opalescent LED daytime running lights.”

European Nissan Leaf sales top 100,000

Nissan is celebrating the 100,000th delivery of the LEAF car this month in Europe. Globally, over 320,000 Nissan LEAF have been sold, making it the most sold EV in the world.
