Hyundai Motor Group (the Group) and AUDI AG (Audi) announced they have entered into a multi-year patent cross-licensing agreement, covering a broad range of fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) components and technologies. Under the new partnership, the world’s fifth-largest auto-making group and the German premium car maker will make joint efforts in developing FCEVs.
Vauxhall has released first pictures of the latest addition to its range, the all-new Combo panel van. Available to order in the Autumn and arriving in Vauxhall showrooms in December, the Combo is based on an all-new architecture and is available in a selection of variants, including short wheelbase, long wheelbase and crew van.
Volkswagen and the I.D. R Pikes Peak have made history at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Driving the 500-kW (592 bhp) I.D. R Pikes Peak, Romain Dumas (F) defeated a field including cars with conventional drivetrain technology. In doing so, he not only broke the previous record for electric vehicles, but also bettered Sébastien Loeb’s (F) all-time record from 2013
Volkswagen has opened the order books for its new flagship SUV – the third generation Touareg. Boasting the latest assistance systems, some of them appearing for the first time in a Volkswagen, the Touareg also offers the option of the new Innovision Cockpit which comprises an intuitive digital operating, information, communication and entertainment unit that can be fully personalised.
Vauxhall’s flagship Insignia is now available to order with bespoke paint colours that can be matched to any colour sample. Customers can choose any paint colour, which could be the colour of their favourite tie, bag or sports team.
