Volkswagen is making available to order a new turbo diesel engine for the all-new Touareg range. The 3.0-litre V6 TDI unit has an output of 228 bhp and joins the 282 bhp TDI engine that the Touareg launched with in June.

Volkswagen’s SUV range expansion continues with news of a new turbodiesel engine option in the T-Roc compact SUV. When T-Roc debuted in Volkswagen Retailers across the UK at the turn of the year, two petrol engines were available. With the arrival of the latest engine option, the range now comprises three petrol and two diesel engines.
Skoda is expanding the Skoda Karoq series: With the new Skoda Karoq Scout, the Czech car manufacturer will be presenting a more rugged variant of the popular compact SUV series in October at the Paris Motor Show 2018. As with all Skoda Scout models, the Karoq Scout comes with four-wheel drive as standard in addition to sporting a powerful off-road look.
