LEVC’s electric London taxi now approved for Paris

The LEVC TX eCity has now been approved by Parisian authorities and will legally be able to be used as a working taxi in the City. This news comes many months ahead of the vehicle’s intended launch into the City and the company says it underlines the ongoing international interest in its flagship commercial vehicle.

For the first time in about 20 years, Volkswagen’s Wolfsburg plant is producing a model of another Group brand: the SEAT Tarraco. The Spanish SUV, which was designed and developed in Barcelona, exploits the synergy effects of the MQB production platform.

Scala – Skoda names its new compact hatch

Following on from the first silhouette images, Skoda reveals the name of its new model – the Skoda Scala. The name derives from the Latin word ‘scala’ which means ‘stairs’ and the Czech car manufacturer says it is a step forward for it in the compact hatch segment. The Scala is the first Skoda production model in Europe to carry the Skoda name in lettering across the centre of the tailgate and replaces the Skoda logo.
Order books open for new Citroën Berlingo van

The new Citroën Berlingo van is now available to order in the UK, with prices starting from £15,825 MRBP. The new Berlingo Van is equipped with 20 driver assistance technologies. Available in two sizes (M and XL), the new Berlingo Van comes in four trim levels (X, Enterprise, Worker and Driver). The new LCV range features an Overload Indicator, Surround Rear Vision and latest-generation diesel engines, including the 1.5-litre BlueHDi 130 S&S with EAT8 automatic gearbox. PureTech petrol engines will be available in 2019.
