Ford builds low-emission petrol engine in South Wales

Production has now begun of an all-new, fuel-efficient petrol engine at the Bridgend Engine Plant in South Wales. The three-cylinder, 1.5-litre EcoBoost engine, which debuts in the Fiesta ST and all-new Focus, is built on an all-new flexible manufacturing facility following of an investment of £100 million, including support from the Welsh Government support.

Leading British bus manufacturer Alexander Dennis will build a new fleet of double deck buses for Berlin. Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) has awarded Alexander Dennis the contract to supply Enviro500 three-axle double deck buses.
