Low-cost IONITY subs for Kia EV drivers

Kia UK Limited has introduced a new IONITY bolt-on to its Kia Charge service, opening the door to low-cost high-power charging for Kia EV owners. Kia Charge provides comprehensive access to the UK public charging network, with around 17,000 connectors accessible from a single account. The new bolt-on enables Kia EV owners to access IONITY’s high-speed 350kW charging points across the UK and Europe.

BMW MINI celebrates twentieth birthday

The MINI brand and BMW Group’s UK manufacturing plants in Oxford and Swindon are celebrating twenty years of MINI production. In early 2001, production began for MINI body parts in Swindon and on the 26th April that same year, the first new MINI rolled off the line in Oxford.

Top five-star safety rating for the Volkswagen ID.4

The new ID.4 has performed well in the Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Programme) safety test. With five stars, the Volkswagen brand’s first compact SUV was awarded the top score. Auditors gave the ID.4 good ratings on all criteria – for the protection of adult occupants, children and vulnerable road users, as well as in terms of assistance systems.
