Monday
ŠKODA is steaming ahead in 2014. Between January and November 2014, the Czech carmaker delivered 955,300 vehicles around the world – 34,500 more vehicles than in the whole of 2013, and 16,100 more than the previous record year – 2012. (Full story)

The Celerio, Suzuki’s all-new global compact City car will go on sale in the UK from February next year and is priced at just £7,999 for the highly equipped SZ3 model and £8,999 for the SZ4. (Full story)

Tuesday
The Jaguar XE won’t just offer class-leading driving dynamics and drop-dead good looks when it arrives in showrooms next year, it will also offer the lowest cost of ownership of any of its premium rivals*. (Full story)

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is celebrating best-ever new vehicle registrations. Sales have passed 2013’s full-year results of 40,857, completing sales of 41,267 from January to November 2014. (Full story)

In its 50th year as one of the UK’s most prolific car plants, Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port factory has released dramatic footage of a vehicle sign-off like no other, while celebrating the five-millionth car to be produced at the Cheshire plant. (Full story)

Wednesday
Launched in 2010, with over 450,000 vehicles produced at the Mulhouse plant in France, the second-generation Citroën C4 is being updated in 2015 with a new light signature, technologies and latest-generation engines. (Full story)

Honda is planning to replicate the sales success of Black Friday and Cyber Monday in its dealers’ showrooms from Thursday 11th December. (Full story)

This is the first time that ŠKODA has produced more than one million vehicles in a calendar year. Today at the main plant in Mladá Boleslav, the jubilee car – a ŠKODA Fabia 1.2 TSI moon white – rolled off the line.
